Pizza Hut, a division of US-based Yum! Brands Inc, is betting big on India which has been identified by the leading pizza brand as one of the key markets for accelerating its global growth. The company opened its 9,000th international restaurant in Mumbai.

Vibgyor Brand Services, a leading experiential marketing organization, was given the task of creating a unique launch event for the milestone event. The brief was simple, to create an unforgettable experience, which brings a smile on the faces of pizza lovers in the city and was uniquely associated with Mumbai.
In order to make the event truly memorable, vibgyor tied up with the celebrated Dabbawalas of Mumbai to deliver 9000 pizza’s to mumbaikars on the day of the launch. This was accompanied by an event and a photo opportunity against the iconic Worli-Bardra sea link– a true symbol of Mumbai. In addition to this, for a pan-India celebration, pizza slices were delivered across historic places in various other parts of the country such as at Qutub Minar in Delhi, Victoria Memorial in Kolkata and Char Minar in Hyderabad.
